Genesis 5000 Refurb

Paul I think you should definitely keep the serving tray but if you decide to sell it for some reason just let me know and I'll be happy to buy it from you.
I inspected everything today and all looking good, minimal work needed. Looked closely at the serving tray it makes v little sense to me and the body/frame suggest it does something more than a tray.
I will be keeping regardless of its uselessness! Weber confirmed that the right hand panel was unavailable (shocker)! This is the only irritant tbh but sourcing may take some time. I can if needed get a panel made which is a copy of left hand panel as I would not use the tank hook mechanism etc, also a neater look tbh.

Cleaned all the wooden slats which are near mint, the grey finish is v light and it seems like factory and not faded. Steve’s idea of decking stain seems solid, trip to Home Depot!

Any help with sourcing the panel would be appreciated! Lid is nicer in the flesh and again mint!

It's one of my favorite lids. I think when I finish out my gray lid 1000 it has a good chance of being my favorite Grill.

I'll find a nice serving tray at some point. Maybe not right away but I'll come across another one.

Would a Genesis gold, silver or platinum right side panel be compatible? I don't deal with those grills so I have no idea but if they do I'm sure it would be very easy to source one.
