Genesis 5000 Refurb

Picked up the Genesis 4000 and condition was better than expected. Only downside is the right hand swing up table is missing
but not a show stopper. Only new parts I think will be flavorizer bars and 2 new castors. It also came with a color coded side tray
which I am not sure exactly what its for. It shows it on the below on top of the left had shelf, its like a tray.

I will give everything a clean up and see whats needed, I dont think the frame needs repainting for starters.1762214068541.png1762214409624.png

Paul, it looks like the RH side slide bar is there, which is the important part. I have the stuff for a table if you want it. I even have an intact wooden slat table that you're welcome to as well. I think what you have there is actually a Genesis 5000. Are all the glass doors still there? Edit: I think there's also supposed to be a panel for the right side of the cabinet. I see the left side and back panel are present, which also indicates that it's a 5000.

Hi Steve, you are correct, there should be a panel on the right side. I should have noticed as I have refurbed one before and Id imagine sourcing one wont be easy. I will take you up on your offer to solve the missing swing table, i will message you to arrange pick up.

All glass doors and hardware are present, do you know what the tray thing is?

Paul, I think, (God help us!) that the tray sits on the left side and your “slatted” piece which would normally go there is the right hand swing table.
I would not be surprised if I was in error but, looking at the flyer imaging, that would seem very likely.

The tray is what they called a serving tray and I think it only came with the 5000. Yes, that panel may be difficult to find but hopefully someone here has one. You can also try pulling up the schematic on Weber's website as well as third party sellers like ereplacement parts.com. A part # goes a long way towards finding obscure parts like that one. Absolutely come by and I'll give you whatever I have for that table.

It looks like the serving tray sits on to of the left hand shelf, its somewhat odd but i will take a better look tomorrow. I still believe I need a swing table.

Thanks Steve, the schematic unfortunately does not provide the part# for the panel.
