FYI Walmart Charcoal - Cheap

Hey all...

I bought a bunch of Kingsford Blue yesterday at wally world.

2 bags (16.9 lbs each) wrapped together in plastic for $8.94 plus tax... That's less than $5 per bag....

Thought I'd share the deal as you may want to check it out.

I wish I had a forklift.

I picked up 2 right after lunch. They were nearly out already at the Walmart I went to.

Home Depot and Lowe's usually have an even better deal on Memorial Weekend.

There was a picture on here that someone took of a pallet from HD marked for a sale the 2nd weekend in April. I asked the clerk at the local HD this past weekend and he confirmed he has a couple pallets marked for a sale in the back.

Either way, the wal-mart sale was pretty good. Works up to be $0.26/lb - the equivalent of $10.58 for the 2x20lbs at HD.
