Friday Night Smash Burgers on the Slate

I made smash burgers tonight. 80/20 then, each patty was six ounces before cooking. I use the lodge press that has a lip on it. So that a six ounce ball all has consistent width and thickness once smashed. Burgers are about 6.25" quarter inches in diameter once pressed onto the Griddle.

The buns were ballpark brand.

Overall not too bad :)

And yeah, I know my plating skills leave a lot to be desired :)

Oh that Mt Olive pickled banana ring..wonderful! My wife and girls much prefer smashed burgers due to the thinness and crisp edges whether smashed on the underside of grill grates flipped over on the grill or on the blackstone. Very nice though and the plate, it’s home time not Hollywood 😆
