Folding table for Silver A?

I was looking at my newly acquired Silver A grill. On the front left leg under the table ,I see a hole and a small bracket that looks like it may be for a fold up table? Was that an option on these grills. If so are there any sources to get one. It would be nice to have a bit more side table space for cooking

Hi John, Post a picture of your grill please. I don't think Weber stocks them anymore. You can still get them second-hand. I have some and I am sure others on this board do too.

Thanks,

Bill

I might have one. Post a picture of your grill. Specifically, I want to see if your grill has the end handle and the frame lock for the table. The frame lock would be on the outside of the left hand front leg about half way down.

Here are some shots of the grill and the left front leg. I did some searching on the web and the side table on other weber grills with the fold up table seem to be a bit different. 20200702_130143 (1).jpg20200702_130204 (1).jpg20200614_153253 (2).jpg20200702_130143 (1).jpg20200702_130204 (1).jpg20200614_153253 (2).jpg20200702_130143 (1).jpg20200702_130143 (1).jpg20200702_130204 (1).jpg20200614_153253 (2).jpg20200702_130143 (1).jpg20200702_130204 (1).jpg20200614_153253 (2).jpg

Hi John, The plastic end caps you have do not have the flip up table mounting brackets. You would need a left side end cap with a mounting bracket for a flip up side table.

Hi John,

Here is an example. Not the same grill but the same mounting scheme. The mounting bracket is molded into the endcap

BPratt is correct. In order to have the flip up table, you would need the left hand handle with the drop down for the pivot bar. But, your grill does have the lock on the leg that you would need.

The shelf are available used. The shelfs don't get used much so they tend to survive. The endcap/handle might be more of a problem.

You need a donor grill with the parts in my opinion.

Silver A owner here. Found a used Silver B on the sidewalk yesterday I want to cannibalize the folding left table off of. I didn't realize the left trim pieces are different lengths though, and the trim on my A doesn't have the bracket for the folding table swivel rod. I suppose I can hack something together, but thought I'd ask whether anyone has the correct trim they'd be willing to part with? I believe the part is Weber 60325, though I'm not positive. Happy to send back any other parts off the Silver B you would want in return. Thanks

EDIT: Decided to fix up the Silver B to keep myself instead!
