Foil and Temp roast

I want to do a cook where I need to foil the roast to finish but at the same time be able to use my Maverick 732 so that I don't over cook the roast. Who has also done this? How did you do it? Wrap the foil around the probe or poke a hole in the foil? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I would just stick it, foiling around a probe would be a PITA to me.
Curious.. What type of roast are you doing?

Poke a hole through the foil. If you wrap the foil around the probe, just make sure you protect the probe from moisture.

I have stuck the probe through the foil with pork shoulders many times. I just make sure I poke it through the top so I don't lose any juice.
