On the subject of smoking wood, I have an ornamental flowering cherry tree in my yard. Is there a difference between a fruiting cherry tree and a flowering cherry tree from a smoking wood standpoint?
Dave, i would guess that a flowering cherry would have to be different because it does not produce fruit. It's probally going to be bitter like the choke cherry. Remember that this is just a guess. You could always try it on a $3.00 chicken or some hot dogs. Could not find any info on the flowering cherry for smoke wood use. Hopefully some else can be more help. Bryan
