Welcome to the forum TJ. This is a really great place to hang out. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. Refurbing a Weber is a great thing to do. I bought a 20 year old Genesis 1000 and it gets a lot of use here and will last for a very long time to come. Remember, Weber's are built to last a lifetime.

Welcome to the forum CJ, looking forward in seeing some cooks. Lots of the guys have refurbed their Weber's and they do turn out nice. My husband Rich redid our Genesis 1000 from 1999 to a 2000 with bigger cart and its nice. Looking forward to seeing some cooks and like the say, the name of the game is just have fun.
