first turkey on the Performer

Put some Butt Rub on the turkey, and injected it with some Knorr chicken stock mixed with some more Butt Rub.

A little after two hours I got to 160°it

used some cherry for smoke, and it came out pretty good. Sorry no plate pix. Had a lot of hungry people over. Well it was a good trial run before Thanksgiving Day. I think for the big day I'm going to try my first turkey on the wsm.

had the oven roster setting on top of my charcoal baskets. Just to give it a little space from the coals.
