First time user, questions about snake method.


 
I'm glad it turned out well Joe. Getting a feel for your grill is critical and it takes a while. Keep looking on here for recipes and tips and you will be an expert before you know it! I use a rib rack when smoking in my OTG. If I am using the mini, I circle the ribs and skewer them (into cylinders). You can buy lots of stacking grill gadgets but if you want to go cheap just get another (smaller) grill at the hardware store and then cut the top and bottom out of three vegetable cans (the Rotel Tomato cans work great). Put your first layer of meat on, then put the three cans on evenly spaced around the lower grate. Add the smaller grate on top of the cans and then put your second layer of meat...
