I brought some of the baby back ribs I smoked yesterday to work and they were a big hit with everyone!! Even though I was slightly (and only slightly) disappointed with them (I think next time I will put a sauce on instead of just the dry rub) all my co-workers liked them.

Next I am planning to do brisket.
 
Co to the "Cooking" section of this site and try the BRITU (Best Ribs In The Universe) recipe. It calls for exactly what you describe, both a rub and a sauce to finish them. I did 4 racks yesterday and all guests agreed they were the best ribs they had ever eaten.
