Pizza's been on my list of things to try for awhile so Saturday I tried one on the 22" Bar-B-Kettle.
I used a grill sheet to make handling the pizza easier, and I suppose I could've made the dough from scratch but I decided to go the Betty Crocker mix route instead. I started by cooking 1 side with the lid off.
After grilling 1 side I added my toppings and while I like pepperoni and sausage on pizza sometimes I like to go veggie with mushrooms and black olives. Sorry about the slightly overexposed shot.
I used a single layer of briquettes and cooked the completed pizza with the cover on.
I didn't roll out the crust but rather pressed it out by hand and came up with a nice thickness.
Got some nice charring on the bottom of the crust, too.
I tried to keep it simple but next time I'll add some oak for smoke flavor.
