Hey club,
Just built a 4.3 heatermeter after being a lurker for a while. Before I fire it up, I'm wanting a damper unit to use. I'll have it printed here as I have a friend with a 3D printer, or I can buy if the price is right. I was leaning towards the AdaptaDamper or the MicroDamper. I found the files online (thingiverse?). Not sure at this point what unit I need. My smoker is a stumps charcoal gravity fed cabinet smoker. It came with hookups for a BBQ Guru, but I opted out for the actual controller when I saw this forum.
Can't wait to get started. I have been able to control the smoker within 10 degrees manually, but it takes alot of babysitting to get there. Hope I can make this BBQ journey a bit more "watchless".
Thanks in advance,
Frank
