I don't have one either, but that doesn't stop me from stocking up when there are deals. Meat that is properly wrapped will freeze fine without loss of quality. FWIW, pat dry, wrap in freezer paper or similar then in foil. Drop individual roasts/steaks or whatever, as many as will fit, in ziplock bags. Squeeze as much air out as you can before closing. Several years ago (~10) my uncle gave me a box of assorted elk steaks/strips/loin/hamburger/etc. It was wrapped first in thin plastic (think saran wrap) & then butcher paper. It kept good for a few years. I found a random package a few years ago, probably after 5-7 years of having it in my freezer, & it kept perfectly with no sign of deterioration.
