I just cut some chunks of fig wood from a live tree. My question is, do I need to let these dry for a while? If so, anyone have recommendations on how long is best to wait?
This is a great time of year to cut your smoking wood for next spring. A few people say fruit wood is ok fresh cut but the one time I tried apple fresh it was not good.
