Father's Day Smoke


 
I guess the forum doesn't like links to SmugMug stored images? So I had to embed a link to the site, not the images individually. Maybe they speak for them selves.

I put the shoulder on around 10:00 p.m. Sat night, stayed with it until the temp stabilized at 200, shut down all three vents to about 1/8" and went to bed. The next morning, the temp had climbed a little to 250, so I backed down only one vent open 1/8" (this was around 0630) at which time I also foiled. I took off the meat at 1030. Never touched the coals of course. Great stuff.

Looks like a nicely done smoke on the butt. I was having problems uploading and started using photobucket and haven't had any problems with it
