ET 73 temp question

What is the highest temp that the ET 73 can safely record without damaging the cord? I have heard there is a High-Temp probe but I can't find it on their website. Can the regular probe go up to 500 degrees?

From the ET-73 Manual:

The Redi Chek® Remote registers temperatures as low as 14 °F (-10 °C) and as high 410 °F (210 °C). LLL will
be displayed below 14 °F and HHH will be displayed above 410 °F. Do not use the stainless steel probe sensor
above 410 °F. Doing so will deteriorate the wire.

Probably more like 392°F (200°C). The sensor will likely fail before the cable will.

From the instruction manual:

The Redi Chek® Remote registers temperatures as low as 14 °F (-10 °C) and as high 410 °F (210 °C). LLL will be displayed below 14 °F and HHH will be displayed above 410 °F. Do not use the stainless steel probe sensor above 410 °F. Doing so will deteriorate the wire.

And:

If the receiver and /or the transmitter display LLL or HHH instead of the probe temperature, wait for probe to
reach room temperature. If LLL or HHH is still displayed it is likely the internal probe wire has shorted out either through moisture or heat damage.
