OK. I know you guys did all this a while ago. I just wanted to let you know how mine went. I ordered the unit (good price $39.95). I first checked the range out of the box (w/good batteries). Not bad but it didn't make it to my bedroom (where I will need it for overnights). I opened the unit (receiver) and found NO antenna. I added my own per the instructions on the old thread. Now I'm happy to say I have great range through several walls into my bedroom (65'). Oh; Its very accurate as well. Thanks guys!
