Estimate BBQ sauce per person?

I'm doing a big chicken cook tomorrow and will be offering only one BBQ sauce for 45 people.

Is 3 tablespoons per person too much or too little to estimate for how much I should make?

I go with 4 T (1/4 c); if there are lots of kids or there is a side item that might likely get a squirt of sauce I go with 5-6.

I want to watch this post to get an idea about the amount of sauce however... I wanted to get an update from you on your pork butt cook from last week on your anniversary. I've lost track of the BB post but from the 25 lbs of PB what was the yield? How much did everyone seem to eat? Too much, too little or just right?
