These Sawyer Products SP105 MINI Water Filtration System, Single, seem to be very well reviewed and at $18 I figured I would have one on hand for emergencies since we have some rain barrels hooked up to our down spouts. I am all about having emergency supplies on hand.
Have not had the chance to see how good this product is however.
I do know that life straw is about 33% cheaper and claims to filter to 0.1 micron.
I have no in field experience with either of course or do I own one yet.....I have been really looking these items up a while back. I do spend time out of doors and feel this would be an asset to own.
You can purchase cheap very effective water purifiers that have a long shelf life too.......this is a product I do own.

I like to read into the filtration process and how good it works on all the brands. I do hope to purchase something before the weather turns warm again.

I do have a life straw somewhere around also, but figured this may be easier to use for cooking or multiple people
