Educate me on the Sequoia

I'm looking into a Sequoia to restore, seems like a fun project that I'll either keep and sell my performer, or sell it after completing. Looks like it's missing the ash catcher, but otherwise complete. Red kettle, wood appears solid but definitely needs a refinishing. Other than knowing that they exist, I'm clueless. Is the SH catcher someone easily replaced? How hard is the wood to restore/refinish? And any other info at all about them would be great. Thanks guys!Screenshot_20250906-055731.png

I did but was hoping for some more info. Most of my trying to search in this site brought me to 15 year old threads and the pictures are dead links. I bet that Josh D fella might have some woodworking advice 😜

Oh you know I would have a blast with that!! I refinished all vintage solid hardwood furniture for my homes. I ended up enjoying it so much that I had extra to sell. Also got into building some rustic furniture after that. Anyways I would love to help with this project if I was closer. Can't wait to see what you do with it. That's definitely a project I would be excited about if I was you!

If it all works out and I can grab it I'll keep everyone posted!
