you know what though. I used porc a fix on the interior of my WSM lid after the thermometer modification. I also had some distress under the welds for the top handle. After one smoking session at 225 degrees (never got over 250 degrees) I noticed that the Porc a fix was slightly distressed, cracked, and peeling. I also used it (this is why I originally purchased the stuff) on the underbelly of my Performer which had a small nick....it still looks fantastic there. It kinda appears that the steam heat affected the porc a fix on the interior lid surfaces. for what it is worth it appeared to show the possibility of coming off onto my food.
