Drip tray deal for Spirit 500

This older-era tray pops up from time to time on ebay or Amazon, but for less than $45 with shipping it's the lowest I've seen. Rare opportunity to replace that pitted, JB-welded, and bent up original! I'm not a metallurgist but it appears to be stamped aluminum like the original?

If you are really fortunate you can get a porcelain covered steel version of that tray. If anyone is interested, I will try to find where I bought it. I had to wait a long time for mine because it was on back order. It is definitely thicker and less prone to burn through.

Agreed, they really are beautiful grills and it's a shame most will end up in the dump due to a lack of replacement parts.
