I'm cooking a 6.9 lb pork butt tomorrow. If the tempature outside is in the upper 80's to low 90's will it affect (lower) the cooking time?

Also if it's hot out and the WSM is sitting in direct sunlight it can make it harder to keep the temps low.

I would think that it would take less fuel on a hot day. Can you explain why?

My WSM sitting in direct sunlight on a in the 90's day will register 150+ on the thermometer in the lid. So i would only need another 75 degrees to reach a cooking temp of 225.
