A store near me has Boston Butts on sale for .77/lb this week and if they freeze ok, I'd like to stock up on a few.
Do Boston Butts Freeze okay?

Yes they do. If they are in cryovac packages they can remain frozen for up to one year, but why would you want to do that? /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

They freeze very well. If you have to break open the cryo pac, you can either Foodsvaer the remaining butt OR if you don't have one of those, simply wrap in plastic wrap, making sure that some wrap is touching the meat in ALL places. This will prevent freezer burn and will prolong the life of your meat.
