DIY Wind Shield

Hi folks, I wanted a windshield for my WSM 18 to get better fuel efficiency and constant pit temp.
I don't want a permanent stone or wood "furniture" style, so I came up with this portable windshield idea. It can be just one 4x8 ft 3/4 in thick plywood, but I did it with 1/4 in thick to save some weight. I also added wood frames to make it hold screws better.
The idea is to make it completely folded when not used. Only three panels are needed, the open side will face the house. If the wind is strong, some weight can but put on the lateral small panels.
Tested in one overnight cook so far and I do see better temperature held at the target set point. (it wasn't windy anyways), I hope this can be a good help during the winter season.

My old bass player made me the branding iron!😁
The lights come and go as needed, I don’t need them very often but, they are available easily from the garage.
