Looking at Craigslist performers. I found one without a slide aside and the steel cart top braces don't out stretch the ss table on the rights side as much.

Is this an older model. How can I look up differences without asking for code on vent.

Here is a pic

Wondering if the "handles" that extend to the right hand side of the grill (in the photo) have been trimmed - perhaps to fit a certain location or cover or whatever...I've never seen one without the handles.

Agreed that the lid holder / Slide aside is missing - just a few dollars from Weber.

You can order the needed parts from Weber.
Here's the Schematic for that Unit.
Keep us posted on your progress if you decide to go thru with it.

If the price is right, get it.
not only can you get a replacement lid holder, the whole top assembly is still available. Around $50 if I remember right.

price is NOT right for this seller as he's including all these accessories that I don't need. But I was mostly wondering if there was something special about his with the shaved off right side support brackets and no slide aside (maybe a hook inside like OTS).

I have a few other ones i'm looking in better condition and cheaper.

thanks for the help.

would $180 be to much for a mint condition SS performer?

I also know why he shaved the handles short on the right side. So he could put on a newer style performer cover! Is it hard to find old covers?
