Difference between boneless Butt roast and boneless Picnic roast

What is the difference? Is the boneless picnic going to be dryer/tougher than the bonelss butt? Bought the bonelss picnic by mistake to do some pulled pork. For pulled pork, I have been using the bonelss butt roasts cut into smaller pieces and then foiling after a few hours till done with pretty good results. Doing a cook for about 25 people on Monday and I accidently bought the bonless picnic roasts instead of the bonelss butt roasts. Will they work? Is there a big difference in texture, taste, moistness, etc... between the two?

I tried a bonelss pork sirloin roast before along with a bonelss butt roast and you could defintely tell a difference. The Sirloin was dryer and not as tender as the butt. Just don't want to serve something that isn't going to be good. Thanks.

I buy picnics all the time and don't see a big difference between them and a butt. Mind you I've never done a side by side comparison. You shouldn't have a problem.
