Defrost time chart.


 
Thank you for this. I already had a reminder on my phone to move my turkey from the freezer to the fridge tonight. I got burned last year because my fridge was at 31-32 degrees. Went to check on it on Wednesday morning and it was still mostly frozen solid.
 
Our daughter got a free 21 pounder from BJs and it went into the fridge at 1 PM. Just enough time with a cushion. :)
 
The Saturday before TG is always turkey thaw day.

Use a cooler with frozen milk jugs if you don’t have fridge space. Use your remote bbq thermometer to monitor the temp inside the cooler. Pretty easy to keep the cooler in the 32 to 40 fridge zone for days on end.
Put mine in the cooler Friday evening. I need to have it thawed by Wednesday so I can spatchcock it, apply rub and dry the skin overnight in the frig.
