Dark gray Weber handles on WSM 22.5

Im definitely adding side handles to my wsm 22.5 and Im not opposed to drilling the holes for the horizontal placement (like they should be!). Im wanting to make it look nice and i'd like to use the same type handle as the one on the lid. Would this be possible given it has only the 1 screw and would it be able to support the weight of the body??

i really liked the mod with the white handles but think it would look cleaner with the dark gray ones instead. So who thinks it is possible?

M,I'm sure that if you add a nut and bolt to each end of the handle bracket,it'll be strong enough to hold the weight of the WSM. The one screw just secures the handle to the bracket. HTH

I made the horizontal handles for my WSM and they work great. I did use washers and stainless steel screws and they work great Weight does not seem to be a problem. Good Luck.
