Cutting Firewood

When I lived in Washington, I had a good local source for chunk firewood. Now that my supply is running low here in Chicago, the only source I have found sells split logs, about 16 inches long.

Can anyone offer advice on what kind of saw to use for cutting these pieces into the 2-3 inch chunks that I prefer?

Currently, I use a bow saw but was wondering if some type of power saw works better and safely.

I use a worm drive skill saw but a SawsAll would probally work better.

Jim hit it on the head...a SawsAll is what I have used in the past. Works great!
