Critical Wind Speeds?

Hi all,

The turkey's on for this afternoon... just doing a 10 pounder as there's only three of us eating it, and we're going out of town tomorrow.

My question is: Does anyone know what wind velocity becomes critical for the WSM (the owners manual doesn't list the V speeds!)? As in, how much wind would it take to knock my WSM over?

It's *really* windy here in the DC area -- the METAR at DCA says 28 knots gusting to 36 knots!!! I'm thinking about putting something big and heavy on the upwind side of the smoker to act as a wind break.

It will take more than that but that amount of wind will effect fuel use and pit temps. A wind break would be great but close the bottom vent or vents that are in the wind
