Crafted Accessories

These dropped in price at Amazon. Are they worth buying?View attachment 82273

Got all of the Crafted accesories except the Baking Stone, the one I use the most is the Crafted Pizza stone, much better than the old bare cordierite ones, heat up and retain it much better in my experience, you can cook Pizza's on the baking stone also I believe, but the pizza stone fits in the crafted frame circle perfectly, so that's what swung it me.

The Crafted flat top griddle I use a lot, it's an excellent half sized griddle for my Genesis 335s and Smokefire, if either of those come up on offer, well worth a look.

Although I own them, I haven't used the roasting basket, sear grate or rotisserie skewers in earnest yet. The sear grate looks great, but the thought of cleaning it after use due to it's size, weight and pattern puts me off tbh.

The Basket can go in the dishwasher though would also spray with some oil before use though as found some food can stick to it..

Thanks. My Smokefire came with the sear grate. It worked well for searing chicken but not the easiest to clean.

On my 1998 1st generation Summit…I like it a lot. I don’t freak out as long as the top part is cleaned off before each cook.

I also have the very nice griddle and finally gave it a try when we had company and needed to cook a bunch of bacon for breakfast. My wife liked that being moved outside, and the Crafted Kitchen griddle can hold about 20 pieces.

I did the recommended seasoning using Blackstone cast iron stuff. Whatever seasoning it may have lacked was more than made up for by all that bacon!
