I was at the locker today picking up my xmas beef, and spotted some "cottage style" bacon (made from pork shoulder) it said on the label. The slices were probably 10-12 inches long and 3-4 inches wide. I was thinking it may be buckboard bacon, but judging by the size of the slices,it seemed like it would have been an awful large shoulder roast to cure. I suppose I could have asked them, since they made it
but theyre not all that friendly in the first place.
