Costco Pork Loin

Hey all! It has been a while since I have posted anything on here. Last Sunday we went to Costco and I bought this thing. I have had this before, but have not been able to find it at Costco for a really long time. The package did not say anything about how to grill, but who needs grilling instructions anyways. I took it out of the package and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes. I set up for indirect cook on the kettle. I let it cook for a little under an hour. I thought about doing a reverse sear on it, but decided the bark looked good enough. Here it is resting after coming off the grill. I let it rest for about 10 minutes and sliced it up for dinner. It was as good as I remembered it being. Oh ya, my wife also had to give me a hard time about taking pics of the food. So, there it is.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! My wife just laughs and then helps me with the pics..

Thanks guys! My wife went as far as to tell my daughter that taking pics of food is not normal. I told my wife that all of the people on this board take pics of their food. She then said being on a grilling forum is not normal either. What does she know?

So we're all abby normal? That's good isn't it?
A take back to Young Frankenstein

Women go through seven stages of grief when their spouse starts to photograph their BBQ.

Denial
Guilt
Anger
Depression
Upward Turn
Reconstruction
Acceptance

It is important to be there for her, and help her through each stage. Mine is making the upward turn this summer. A little grin when I grab the tongs, beer, rub, and camera.

That loin looks really good. I've had those before from costco. Personally I don't care for them because of the "dilly" flavor.
As far as food photographing, its just normal for men to do this. Back millions of years ago we used to paint pictures of the animals we would hunt on the wall of the cave. Many hunters and fisherman today take pics of their game, so the natural progression would be to take pics of your food that you cook.
