"Among the pitmasters attending will be current Memphis in May barbecue champions Brad and Brooke Orrison of the Shed Barbecue and Blues Joint in Ocean City, Miss.; four-time Memphis in May champion John David Wheeler of Memphis BBQ Co. in Memphis, Tenn., and John Stage of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in New York.

The booming local barbecue scene will be represented by Mike Emerson of Pappy’s Smokehouse, Tom Schmidt of Salt + Smoke and Mike Johnson of Sugarfire Smoke House
Admission will be free, with barbecue available for purchase. A VIP pass will also be available. There is no word on the VIP price yet."

Wonder if they have thought about a "backyard" section to help bring out more of the local smokers. I wish that they would do something like that up here as well.
