collecting Drippings Choice Rib

So I am trying to collect the drippings from my standing rib roast so as to attempt a nice au jus. I am going to, once again, take K. Kruger's advice from This Thread . The only thing is that I don't want to go to the store to buy a tinfoil pan...and the only existing item in our house that the wife will allow me access to is a Lodge Iron Skillet...anyone see any problems with using this guy (foiling the bottom) on the bottom grate to catch my drippings?

Dupree, I use the lodge on the bottom grate for alot of sides, but as far as a drip pan on a nice prime rib, one would think thats a lot of mass to heat up.

I see no issues what so ever in using that to collect the drippings. HTH
