Coca-cola Brisket/Rick Browne

Has anyone followed this recipe ? If so what did you think of the end result ?

Basicly marinade 10-20 lb brisket, in a coca-cola mixture for 2 days. cook 12-14 hrs. @ 275-325. Dlb foil and put in oven or smoker @ 150-160 overnight ?? just curious. Thanks
 
Yes, I think that is a good idea. I'd give it a try. Early on, when I was learning how to cook a good brisket, my WSM would always run out of heat, I'd throw the brisket in the oven, to finish it off. It did turn out pretty good back then.
 
Use Dr. Pepper instead of Coke.
