Just picked up a NIB 22.5 WSM for $250 from some guy in the next town. He said he bought a whole pallet of mixed 18s & 22s on Amazon advertised as open box, damaged packaging & store returns. I got the last 22 and he has two 18s left that he is asking $200 each for. I told him we had to open the box and make sure nothing was missing or damaged, so we pulled everything out (still factory packaged) and checked the fit of the body sections (perfect). Took a lot longer to get it back in the box so my wife can wrap it and stand it up next to the Christmas tree (LOL). The size difference is HUGE between the this one and my 18. This one is so big I may list the old one on CL after New Year and see if I can get some of my money back. Maybe I can earn some brownie points by admitting I don't really need six cookers.
 
Good score. I had seen his adds on CL but I wasn't to sure how legit he was. Good to see it worked out for you. Makes me regret not jumping on the 22 when I saw the add.
