This is a little combo post. A couple Fridays ago my sister came by and we did shrimp & flat iron tacos. Wife was gone for the evening, so when she came home and heard what we had, it was required to be made the following week. I have been extremely lazy with the camera lately, so here are a few pictures from each cook. One was on the performer, one on the 26er, otherwise you would have never known!
Fresh made pico and all the toppings
B/S thighs for the chicken tacos
Ancho rubbed flat iron for the steak tacos. I’ve always had an issue with my ancho rubbed flat irons having the ancho flake off when cooking direct. I sprayed the steak with a little shot of pam and it helped.
Roasted some poblanos and chopped into cheese dip

There was also some refried beans and poblano corn served up on the 2nd cook.
