chicken or pork on top

when you are smoking two different kinds of meat such as chicken and pork ribs is there any rule to which one you put on the top grate and which one you put on the bottom?
 
Trevor, put the meat on top that you want to drip on the bottom. If that isn't a concern then put the fastest cooking on top for convenience.

thanks for the info I smoked the ribs last night and put them on the bottom the chicken quarters on top I should have bought a WSM along time ago these things work great
