Chest Freezers-5 cf

We've had the same chest freezer for 15-20 years. It still runs fine but the gasket was shot so I replaced it with EPDM weather stripping which mostly worked with one small gap. I decided it's time for a new one so started to research a bit. What I found is that they're all essentially made in the same factory in China. Magic Chef at Home Depot, Hotpoint at Lowes,Frigidaire at Walmart, Best Buy has it's house brand Insignia.
I decided against ordering online and having it shipped as dozens of negative reviews are about damages due to shipping. Besides, Delaware is 6 miles south with no sales tax. They were all about $170.
Lowes is the closest right over the state line. Went there yesterday and right out in the middle of the appliance aisle is a stack of Hotpoints on sale for $149 and $169. The difference was one model had an led light built in the door.
Don't need that so out the door for $149. Not bad. Hope it lasts as long as the other which I'll give away or trash.
What's been other folk's experience with these garage freezers?
