I have a very good friend who is a winemaker and has hooked me up with several types of smoking wood. But let me tell you he has outdone himself. He brought over some cherry slats that were in some large pinot noir tanks for almost 3 months. These bad boys were dry and could be snapped into about 4 inch pieces. Added them to some indirect cooking on Performer.I also did some Mung beans for the first time ever. Very flavorful and easy to cook!
