Cheap firewood rack

I’ve been working on fire wood a bit lately getting ready for the winter.
I found this rack idea the other day and I must say it is about as simple as it gets.
No nails.
No screws
No nothing, just gravity.

2 - 8’ fence poles
2 - 10’ 2x4’s cut in half (Home Depot does this for free)
3 - 8x8x16 2 cell blocks
It costs $19 and change per rack.
I kinda like it.
Here is some pics.

Pretty cool/imaginative. Since having the wood burning fireplace removed a few years back and having an 85% efficient, direct vent sealed gas unit installed I miss a lot of things. Storing and stacking wood, smoke on startup, chimney cleaning, infestations of yellow jacket wasps every year this time of year, cold drafts in the winter unless a fire is burning, hundreds of $$$ of exterminator fees every fall (against the wasps), not knowing what that "buzz" is (again the wasps), having to keep a fan running on my patio door to keep it from freezing shut (condensation due to cold drafts coming in from unlit fireplace), bringing wasps and other vermin in the house accidentally that nested in the firewood.
I could go on and on about all the "fun" I miss now :D
But now I simply click the remote control and we have a wonderful fire :D
