Charcoal Go-Anywhere wooden handles - Fit Weber Kettles?

Does anyone know if the older Weber Charcoal Go-Anywhere wooden handles will fit on a 22.5 weber kettle?

Yes Chad they'll fit just fine.

Thats how I got wooden handles for my 22.5. I made up some duplicates for my Go-Anywhere. I wanted the authentic ones on the kettle.

Picked up a charcoal WGA with wood handles (lid vents have "B" code, don't know what year that is). The grill is in good shape, but I mainly wanted the handles - $5 for 3 sets! The handles have 2 rivets (no screws/bolts) each.

If I wanted to transfer these handles to my kettles, do I just drill the rivets out carefully? The newer kettle only has 1 screw through the newer handle, so I guess I will have to drill 2 holes in each metal handle if I want to attach the wooden handles. Anyone else done this?
