Change things up

Black to Burgundy hood, removed side table, maybe bail handle to match cook table? I don't think that end cap will melt that close, set of casters
Some will shake their head at my butchery but I'm OK with that.
Our daily driver for 12 yrs now, was 10 when got it so the change is nice

Table worn, sun faded and not needed with table and I'd like to get a junior to set next to it

Sounds reasonable. I was hoping with some of the grills I have acquired to have a spare frame to make a utility cart out of, however it seems I have more luck getting good cookboxes, than good frames!

Looks good to me! I like the repurposed frame cart as well. In fact, I joined this forum because it's not a group of 'purists'. You can do mods, mix & match, or 'roll your own', and a lot members here will be helpful & curious, and interested in why, what, and how.

I was on a vintage Airstream blog where, if a person made the slightest mod or criticized a factory design choice, the reaction was: "you have meddled with the primal forces of nature." Another blog actively deleted comments by anyone who said anything negative about Airstream.

I put an “extra” half table on our Junior and it always has a drink on it when I’m grilling.
Considering doing something similar on our 1000, think that pieces like you removed for the stationary table on the Silver B would work. They would extend from the right (control panel) side and be similar to an early 1.
