Cedar Plank Salmon?

Just wondering...has anybody tried or can you even use a cedar plank under a slab of salmon in the WSM? Just saw some cedar planks on the web and the thought crossed my mind and I didn't know if it would work or not.
 
You can, it is different than when you grill but it works. As the plank heats up the oils in the wood come up to the surface and flavor the salmon. There are those that place the flesh directly on the cedar plank, some will leave the skin on.
Your planks will last a lot longer because your not burning them during the cook.
