Had a Jenn-air stove once with the grill insert. What a stupid idea. It gives you a 2-burner stove and a useless grill. You use it once and then order a module with 2 burners to replace it. 15 minutes of grilling and 2 hours of cleanup.

Yeah, the grill was a PITA because of those "lava rock" supports. We put the griddle insert over ours, and used that very frequently.

I agree. We bought a module shortly after moving into that house. I did use the griddle a lot for breakfast though. Cleanup for that was easier. We moved out of that house a year ago, and I much prefer the kitchen in the new house. Folks before us put some really nice (and pricey) appliances in there.

Yep, Much prefer my 4 burner gas stove and the Weber grill out on the patio. I too used the griddle occasionally. The Jenn-air was just an overpriced toy.
