I was referred to Lakewood Meats by 1) a woman on Facebook who read that I'd visited Lockeford Meat & Sausage in nearby Lockeford, CA and said she preferred this place (and its lack of lines) to Lockeford, and 2) fellow BBQ judges at a contest I judged in Lodi who said this was a great local source for quality meat.
They've got a nice selection of fresh and smoked sausages, fresh meat, and gourmet food items. The specialty is sausage and they come in a wide variety of flavors. They also feature very high quality Creekstone Farms fresh cuts of meat.
Lakewood Meats & Sausage is worth the visit if you're passing through Lodi.
