Buying a pressure cooker *****

I picked up a Wisconsin Aluminum 30 qt. pressure cooker that can also be used for canning last Fall at the Sausagemaker.com . They normally sell them for $300 but this one had been damaged in shipping, broken pressure gauge (which they replaced) and a bent lid handle where the plastic is also cracked and a small piece is missing. If it bothers me too much, Ill just order a replacement but it's been working fine. The wanted 200 bucks for it and I walked. Went back the next Saturday and offered him $100. He took it, told me to take it home for a week and if I didn't like it, bring it back. Well, I love it! And that turned out to be a hell of a deal. Wisconsin Aluminum sells this model for $430 but I just found it on Amazon for $229.99.
